Big News!

We’re proud to announce that Happy Yolk has won Silver at The Drum Awards for Marketing 2025 in the Best Non-Profit / Charity Campaign of the Year category.

About the Campaign

This award-winning campaign celebrated the British Hen Welfare Trust’s milestone of rehoming its one-millionth hen. It was a creative, multi-channel effort that brought together storytelling, strategy, and star power to raise awareness for hen welfare.

The campaign featured a royal rehoming by King Charles III, a bespoke hen carrier designed by fashion icon Lulu Guinness, a voiceover from comedian Bob Mortimer, and social media support from celebrity animal lover David Beckham.

Our storytelling approach connected deeply with audiences, capturing millions of views and significantly boosting BHWT’s social presence. Nearly a year since the campaign, the charities engagement remains sky high.

A Word from the Client

"Working with Happy Yolk was a no-brainer for us - not least because of their very appropriate name. From the start, they brought creativity, fresh ideas, and real enthusiasm to our One Millionth Hen campaign. Our social media pages buzzed with excitement as momentum built ahead of the big reveal thanks to the totally engaging way they delivered our messaging.

The team also used their contacts to great effect, helping us secure a bespoke, handcrafted hen carrier from fashion designer Lulu Guinness. Happy Yolk were incredibly easy to work with and efficient in delivering content - they felt like part of the BHWT team right away, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."
